Privacy Notice

Last updated: 9 July 2026

This notice explains how PlannerPath collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website, apply for PlannerPath Live, use the PlannerPath platform, or communicate with us. It explains what we collect, why we use it, the lawful bases we rely on, who we may share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have under UK data-protection law.

1. Who we are

PlannerPath is operated by FINANCEED LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15474358. FINANCEED LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

Our registered office is 88 Wingrove Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 9BR. Our London trading and programme address is 38 Bartholomew Close, London EC1A 7HP.

For any question about this notice or your personal data, email hello@plannerpath.co.uk.

2. Personal data we collect

We may collect and use the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, role and login details.
  • Application information for PlannerPath Live, such as your current stage, relevant study or experience, your reasons for applying and information needed to administer your application.
  • Programme administration information, such as attendance, payment status, dietary information, accessibility or reasonable-adjustment information you choose to provide, and programme communications.
  • Simulation activity and outputs, such as responses, feedback, domain-level insights, competency evidence, Foundations Diagnostics, scores or badges where applicable.
  • Institutional, employer or referral information, where you use PlannerPath through a university, employer, training provider or referral arrangement.
  • Technical and security information, such as device, browser, log-in, session and usage information needed to operate and protect the website and platform.
  • Communications you send us, including emails, contact-form submissions and support requests.
  • Marketing preferences, where you choose to receive updates about PlannerPath programmes, resources or events.

3. Why we use your data and our lawful bases

We use your data to provide and administer PlannerPath, process applications, deliver PlannerPath Live, provide feedback and developmental outputs, keep the platform secure, respond to enquiries, improve the service and comply with legal obligations.

The lawful bases we rely on depend on the activity. These may include performance of a contract or steps before entering into a contract, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation, and, where you provide special-category information such as certain accessibility, health or dietary information, explicit consent where required.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include operating and improving PlannerPath, reviewing applications, keeping the platform secure, protecting our intellectual property and communicating with users in a proportionate way.

We rely on consent for optional marketing emails and for some forms of individual-output sharing where consent is the appropriate basis. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Sharing personal data

We do not sell personal data.

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the website, platform, forms, email, payments, hosting, analytics if introduced in future, and administrative systems. These providers are expected to handle data under appropriate data-processing terms.

We share individual simulation outputs, Foundations Diagnostics, competency evidence or reports with an employer, university, training provider or other third party only where there is a clear lawful basis to do so, such as your consent, an institutional arrangement that has been explained to you, or another lawful basis under UK GDPR.

PlannerPath outputs are intended to support development and human judgement. They should not be used as the sole basis for recruitment, rejection, progression, employment or other consequential decisions.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order or to protect our legal rights.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside the UK. Where this happens, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection, such as using recognised transfer safeguards where required.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required for legal, regulatory, accounting or dispute-resolution reasons.

As a working guide, unsuccessful PlannerPath Live applications may be kept for up to 12 months; participant and platform records may be kept for up to 3 years after your last interaction with PlannerPath; financial and transaction records may be kept for up to 6 years; and marketing preferences may be kept until you unsubscribe or until suppression records are no longer needed.

We may anonymise data and use it for research, service improvement and aggregate reporting. Anonymised data does not identify you.

7. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete data in certain circumstances, ask us to restrict or object to certain processing, ask us to provide data in a portable format in certain circumstances, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise your rights, contact hello@plannerpath.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has not been handled properly.

8. Automated decision-making

PlannerPath may use technology to help generate developmental feedback, organise evidence and support reporting. PlannerPath does not intend its outputs to be used as solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for individuals. Any employer, university or institutional use of outputs should include meaningful human review.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
